Still

Blissed out from being San Francisco and waxing poetic over everything.

Went to the grocery store today and they had Almondina - delicious, crispy natural cookie things.

$2.99 at the Met on Vanderbilt. Pricey, but cheaper than the $3.49 they're charging you online.

Today

Trader Joe's High Fiber cereal looks a lot like mice droppings.

Bloggedy blog

I wanted to write about cool things, post things that inspired me but it inevitably turns into a blog about ranting, feelings, my ex most recently and other trite things. I'm just going to stop fighting it and give in to the solipsism.

Though right now, I am inspired by the background paintings that Prada is using for their current campaign. I can't tell whether I would like them as much on their own or if it's their absolute perfectness for the current fashion line that I'm appreciating.

Really unfair

That "What if God was One of Us" is one of the songs that make me think of him. Seriously unfair.

The Reason I Love Skaar

Because I spent the 6 hour flight home reading Eat Love Pray and was hoping spirituality would help me through this damn break-up but was already secretly feeling a little pretentious and high school about it when I see that he has posted this, "pet peeve #678: when people describe themselves as 'spiritual'."

Awesome.

*But the book was good. But I'm not going to take myself so seriously. And how can I be sad when I'm in the best city ever? Answer: I can't.

Heartbroken

We're not going to have a life together. And I understand why but I'm heartbroken. It's because our lives apart are still unknowns. Why am I like this? I should be with someone who's practical and not a dreamer. I'm a dreamer, I hope I'll see him, I hope it will be romantic and he will ride into town looking for me when he's ready but I know deep down, it doesn't work that way.

La La La

It's fucking gorgeous out today and for once it doesn't depress the hell out of me for not being more happy because I am happy. It's the music. I have to listen to music every morning for the rest of my life.

I will be home in a week and I cannot wait.

super cool broken heart

"The Heartbreak consists of a fragile porcelain heart and light yet strong titanium hammer, both are connected and made inseparable by a titanium chain. When broken the heart will show cracks, yet it will never fall apart as there is a layer of rubber on the inside that will keep the heart together. Indeed as one will usually recover from a broken heart, the small cracks will inevitably add up and form who we are."

Wiki article on how to persuade an atheist to become Christian
# Research the Kalam Cosmological Argument. It is used by the Islamic religion to argue that there is a God. Even if you are not Muslim, but Christian, it will still benefit you because it provides an argument about why there needs to be a God. Wikipedia has an excellent article on this subject.
